Intimate Weddings: Melissa and Jacobs Wedding Day

Intimate weddings

Intimate weddings are my favourite.

They are simple, beautiful, and just so personal. Melissa and Jacob said their I do’ s in such a gorgeous, private location. Nestled out the back of Loftus in the beautiful Sutherland Shire. With their closest of family and friends; and a kookaburra-!! You had to be there 😉

After a mountain of rainfall during the week, the wedding day presented itself with clear blue skies, and hardly any breeze at all.  In other words, a perfect winter’s morning.

Nestled in the back of Loftus, we were blessed with the most magnificent green tree backdrops. Melissa and Jacob stood on a rock platform and became Mr. and Mrs.  The ceremony was

officiated by the wonderful Amy Watson who kept the formalities light and casual. https://www.yourmarriagemaker.com/

No need to leave this stunning location after the ceremony for photos. We just went for a short walk through the bush with the best man James, and maid of honor Brandi, Melissa’s Sister.

Enjoy a sneak peek of some of Melissa and Jacobs’s wedding day images.

Whether by choice or through Covid restriction, Intimate weddings are something we are going to see an awful lot more of. These guys chose this particular location because it’s where they grew up. Jacobs’s childhood home (and still his parent’s home) backs straight onto this bushland. He spent many afternoons out in the bush with his best man James. As we walk the bush to find the perfect photo spots it was so nice to hear the stories of their mischievous days as kids. To marry in a place that has such fond childhood memories I think is really special

Personally, I love intimate weddings when they happen buy Choice. However,  if it’s because of Covid, make the best of each situation as it presents itself. After all, all the matters, is the two of you getting hitched ❤
